Wednesday, April 18: Primary Colors at SP2
Primary Colors will bring southern soul and classic jazz to SP2 Communal Bar + Restaurant this Wednesday. SP2 will provide the atmosphere and American bistro cuisine with Primary Colors bringing the groove and blues.
Thursday, April 19: Omar Apollo + Sin Amores at The Continental
This Thursday’s edition of the Changing Same presented by Universal Grammar and hosted by Sonido Clash features a special performance by R&B pop singer Omar Apollo. Guest DJ Sin Amores of Chulita Vinyl Club will join the Changing Same resident DJs.
Friday, April 20: ZERO — indie pop / electropop dance party at The Ritz
In the mood to dance? ZERO hosted by resident DJs Bit and Basura will spin indie pop and electropop hits at The Ritz this Friday. Hear your favorite tracks and remixes from Daft Punk to The XX and LCD Soundsystem to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The party is 21 and up — free before 10 p.m. and $5 after.
Saturday, April 21: POUNDERS at Art Boutiki
SoFA Street Fair Live & Local SJ stage band POUNDERS celebrate the release of their album ‘Through the Fire’ this Saturday at Art Boutiki. Get a preview of the rock power trio the night before the fest with special guest Socorra. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door — all tickets come with a copy of the CD and a poster signed by the band!
