It’s time for First Friday Fiesta at MACLA! Catch local talent and dance showcases this Friday, April 10.
First Friday kicks off with DMCStudio’s Youth Showcase and Open Mic. #DTSJ’s talented youth will perform live music and poetry alongside a photography exhibit and youth short films.
The night will close with ‘Carnaval Sud Americano’ performed by Bolivian Dance Team, Kantuta Ballet, Danza Venezuela, and Valverde Dance. The groups will explore the rich diversity of South America’s vibrant music and dance traditions.
First Friday will also feature the Latino Art Now! Auction and Exhibition in the MACLA Gallery. Contemporary Latino Art from Bay Area artists will be auctioned off to support programs at MACLA.
No ticket is required and all ages are welcome!
